The Scarborough Bridge Congress was first held in 1982 at the Corner Complex, and this year is again at the Downe Arms in Wykeham. The Congress is held over three days in March or April each year, and is open to bridge players country-wide. Trophies are awarded to all competition winners, and prizes to leaders in the field in all competitions. The Scarborough Bridge Congress is a Master Points Congress and is licensed by The English Bridge Union. In 2011, the Congress will be held over the weekend of 20th April - 22nd April.
